Couple performance artists, chefs, growers, musicians, a top winery, mystery and a specialty cocktail bar for a thrilling and delicious evening for the guests.
Collaboration Inspiration Creativity
This is what happened in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. The designers of the dinner side of the event are the super talented team from Dig & Serve. I would recommend that you sign up for their announcements if you love great food and want a unique dining experience.
The food, every course was superb! Although the gallery did not have a kitchen, Dig & Serve brought along Wade McCullough of Food Karma, a pay as you feel food concept, who has the largest and best equipped food truck to become the event’s kitchen. Chef David Gaspar de Alba, taking his inspiration from the abundant locally sourced, fresh ingredients shined. Each course was beautifully, conceived, prepared and then assembled by an amazing kitchen team who followed the signature plate for assembling the 30+ guest plates- then, quickly whisked out to the hungry patrons!
This evening was inspired by Jessamyn Lovell. She has been developing the P.I. Project based upon the experience of having her identity stolen. Guests were led to the Central Features gallery where fellow actors performed and served the fabulous multi-course dinner.
Celebrate local food & support the arts
These multi-dimensional events have a lot of moving parts, contributors and can appear overwhelming to outsiders. All of the contributors to this dinner worked in harmony and it was beautifully designed and produced. My partner, Susan attended as a guest. She and the other guests all enjoyed themselves to the max!
In order for you to understand the evening, I am attaching photographs taken by fellow photographers Gabriella Marks and Clarke Conde. While I was asked to shoot the final plated food, they covered the activities and the front of the house activities. A collaborative event from beginning to end. Check out one in your town or come to New Mexico where they seem more frequent.
